Dont know if it was the same for you Duke but the GT Air gave me pressure points on my forehead after about 2 to 3 hours on my head and tbh the HJC was the same.
I've ridden all day long in the Xlite with no discomfort. Very underrated helmet.
Went to Motocentral in Hinckley to try some flip fronts on..
Tried the AGV SportModular, HJC Rhpa 90, Nolan N100-5, X Lite 1004 and the Shoei Neotec 2.
Has to be said that the Shoei was head and shoulders above the others in terms of quality, it feels like a proper helmet whereas the other don't.
Didn't buy but they do price match so going to have a look round and get a price then go back and buy from them. Their service was very good. Member of staff knew his stuff and put me under no pressure to buy there and then.

I've bought from Motocentral before and they were a good company to deal with.
Any reason why you specifically want a flip as obviously some other good helmets out there too.
To try something different really. On longer rides it would be good to get some air and have a drink without removing the helmet. I'm more than happy with my AGV for short blasts out.
Some of them can be used with the chin bar raised, its not something nething I would do normally but sometimes in town or heavy traffic it would be a useful addition. In summer time I would quite like to commute a few days a week when possible .
Just got one of these - HJC RPHA 90- pretty impressed to be fair for the price (£200). I looked at Schuberth and Shoei, but this came out tops for fit (for me).
Yeah, fit is always key. I’ve never been able to get a shoei and other premium lids to fit, so was impressed with the value for money with this. It’s surprisingly light as well for a flip lid.
