Gifts for Bikers
A guy at work just approached me asking for gift ideas for his brother-in-law who's just passed his test.
"I thought I'd ask you because I haven't a clue"...
It's a bloody difficult question to answer but the obvious things were Tail Tidy, Tank/Tail bag, tank protector and chain cleaning tool.
Any other suggestions?

Re: Gifts for Bikers
Good reminder D4.. I got bought Twist of the Wrist 2 for christmas one year, watched it 10+ times and learned something new every time. I made that recommendation.

Re: Gifts for Bikers
How old - what type of biker does he intend to be.?Cav wrote:A guy at work just approached me asking for gift ideas for his brother-in-law who's just passed his test.?
The answer to that ^ will determine the type of gift that would be best IMHO.
If he wants to be a commuter that can nip through the traffic jams twice a day then a trackday training video isn't going to help him much.
Conversely if he's a born again 50 something who wants a Summer-Sunday toy to scratch his middle aged itch, then waterproofs & thermals will also miss the mark.?

Re: Gifts for Bikers
Valid point Marks... from what I can gather he's a weekend warrior who occasionaly commutes on a nice day. Not sure on age though.
He has a 2004 CBF600 (the sit up and beg commuter)

Re: Gifts for Bikers
One of the things that helped me the most when I was a new rider was a bike safe day with the local police so that's my suggestion.
