I've seen all his strippergram outfits. The gorilla one doesn't fit in his panniers, let alone the gimp suitduke63 wrote:StMarks wrote:Commuting is the answer mate.duke63 wrote:Not ridden mine for over a fortnight now. Life seems to get in the way.
Its just not realistic for me. I have too much stuff to carry for work and don't work in the same place often enough to make it worth all the hassle.
What did you do to your bike today ??

Only you know what's best for you mate. Fwiw I think working in various different locations make for more interesting & varied working days.duke63 wrote:StMarks wrote:Commuting is the answer mate.duke63 wrote:Not ridden mine for over a fortnight now. Life seems to get in the way.

I was basing my comment on :
To be able to ride more than once in a fortnight, I think I would put up with/find solutions for, the hassle.duke63 wrote:make it worth all the hassle.

I'd need business mileage insurance cover to use my bike for work and to be honest i wouldn't want to be commuting every day on it.
It would take the pleasure of riding away for me.

You're right, as usual Duke.
I'm the one who's wired wrong..: I enjoy the commuting battle (often the highlight of my working day) Yet I never go on Ride-outs.
My loss I guess.

It's right for me.
I know others get pleasure from commuting on their bikes and so it's right for them.

Just been out on the Multi for an hour.
First summer evening ride of the year.
It really is the best time to be out on the bike. Little traffic and no scamera vans.

Replaced the rear sprocket, seems it is not only my mouth which lost a tooth this week!!!
No wonder the ride back from Wales was a little eventful ha ha.
Also tightened the chain on the tiger, was getting a little slack.....

Left it at home. Most of my kit is still wet from yesterday and with it being a dress down day at work it's too much hassle putting on wet gear and carrying a change of clothes.

Applied, took off, applied spare, took off, applied another spare vinyl from Pitty to the screen.
Then gave it a baptism of a 3 hour ride, mostly in the rain and it seems to have held up nicely.
Photos to follow. If I get enough time and sun to clean the bike!
