Highest rainfall in the country is Exeter Airport with over 2 inches of rain but the midlands have just been hammered with rainfall between 16-32mm/hr

Re: What are you doing today ??
We were taking photos on the Ducati stand next to various bikes. All of a sudden a woman rushes over to Candice and demands to speak to her photographer, telling her "you're half naked" and "we're a family brand, we don't go in for this sort of thing". Very rude, very aggressive. I stepped up and asked her what the problem was. She then starts having a go at me telling me I have to leave and take my model with me.C00kiemonster wrote:

Everyone else was spot on, very friendly and helpful. I had one of the heads of Honda chatting to me telling me to take as much time as I wanted, John Reynolds chatting to me and letting us pose with the MotoGP bike and the new Gixxer Thou etc. Norton were kind enough to let us pose with their new bikes, they even removed the rope around them. Fair enough the owner of Norton told us when we had had long enough, but he was nice and polite about it.
There really was no need for her attitude.

Sounds like the same old story....put any inept person, in any position of authority whatsoever, and they will abuse it.
Should've drop-kicked her.
And pretended you have Tourettes.
OR!!....whipped out your phone and pretended to record her. Can work wonders. Allegedly.

Family brand? Don't see many panigales off down the shops with a family on them doing the groceries.
I think Candice is smack bang in the demographics for Ducati owners imo!

Sorting out my photos from yesterday, and doing some decorating in the bathroom this time. I have stalled while I edit the Candice ones....Or should I say lingering, rather than stalling...ha ha.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Sitting in the Qantas lounge, didn't think to check my flight, it's always the same time, except it's not today! So my driver picked me up at the normal 5.30am and I now have 2.5hrs to kill in the lounge as my flight is 90 mins later than normal

Boss is out today which means I can get my hands on some of the files he's got stashed on his desk and do some work.

Lounging around the house doing nowt today......if I get the urge to do anything strenuous it'll be something arduous like shopping, eating, cycling, eating, cooking, etc.
If I get to feeling adventurous later, I might just venture out and by some cigarettes. Under adult supervision, of course.

I've had a quick go on the MW remastered but I'm crap. I'm far too used to playing it with a keyboard and mouse.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Better you than me....the keyboard controls on any sort of game drive me berserk.
But a decent video game DOES sound like fun right now. I went to a game "arcade" the other week and it was just a bunch of geeky feckers sitting around playing the same games you play at home??
Once in a while some fecktard would just about wet his panties and go running off to a friend..."OMG...Quentin!..I just unlocked The Doom Lair!!" M'ron.
Lassie who worked there reckoned it's how the geeks all find out what games they want to buy these days.

I haven't played call of duty for years. I reckon my 6 year old will be wiping the floor with me after school.Kwacky wrote:I've had a quick go on the MW remastered but I'm crap. I'm far too used to playing it with a keyboard and mouse.

Re: What are you doing today ??
MW2 was amazing.. many an hour spent at my computer desk with a crate of cider by my side. Used to play FFA and typical get 30-1 with an assault rifle, none of the UMP-45 noob stuff.
I don't have a big enough computer desk anymore so haven't PC gamed in years. Still got 2 brand new hard drives to install too

Re: What are you doing today ??
I used to play a Quake 3 engine mod game called Urban Terror. I loved using the UMP45 on that but I never got on with it in COD.
