Worth a watch. Seeing a guy who on your average trackday would blitz everyone and won a world championship less than 15 years ago, yet he struggles with the latest Motogp bike. Really interesting.

Thanks Duke, I really enjoyed that.
How nervous did he look before his first ride?
I tell you what, I got goosebumps from the noise of that back on the back straight when he was going through the gears.

I thought that, but then thought "your about to perch yourself on top of a 2 wheeled missile, 'course you'd be bricking it a bit"Kwacky wrote:How nervous did he look before his first ride?
Just hearing the noise of that bike, I'd love the chance to scare myself shitless trying to ride one of them.

definitely a good watch, very honest feedback from Hodgson as well. I was crapping myself enough when I first took my 10 out on track, I couldn't even imagine what it would be like to take one of those for a spin.

That's very honest... kinda felt for the guy to be honest - then I remembered he was riding a current MotoGP bike and hated him again! haha
There's a more in depth review on bike social. He said he had to change his lines into more of a V than he ever thought you would have to on a bike - it's a drag bike

Re: Hodgson riding Iannone's Desmo racebike
He did seem a bit intimidated by the whole thing...which I guess is a good thing. If the bikes were the same as his was way-back-when it would've seemed a little pointless.
What a great track.
