It sounds weird I know but maple syrup, bacon and pancakes is superb. Give it a try.

I like both!! Most US bacon is honestly not that good compared to English back bacon...BUT - we do like it with Canadian maple syrup....either saturated into the bacon itself when it's being cured, or on the side, and/or with your pancakes. Pancakes, surprisingly actually CAN be eaten more than once a year with no apparent ill-effects.
