Travelling to the airport. Poor Indian taxi driver is getting hammered by two Kiwi drunk cricket supporters, but he's actually siding with us against Aussie!!!

Re: What are you doing today ??
What a day it's been. Walked in with night shift doing as good as nothing for 8 hours because our crap piece of metal box (named a labeller which isn't designed for our dusty environment) went down a couple.of hours into their shift. I tried to sort it out but it needed stripping and cleaning and adjusting...I know how to do this but got the blame for not doing that because I was sorting out set up...my next call was to strip it down hit my boss walked in before getting to that stage. He started doing what I had done so I told him and he then 'had to strip it'.
Then afternoon I went on break leaving the department running smoothly. Clearly something went wrong and they tried to cover it up when I walked down the stairs from my 30min break I get yelled at accusing my team of messing things up.
This then sparked a massive argument where people (me) was called nasty things and things were smashed and other things thrown...
BBC - put hidden cameras into our department I promise you you're nev r going to have to ask for a TV license fee ever again because our place is comedy gold!! Hahaha!

Watching the firemen put a car fire out. Looks like an electrics fault on a 62 plate Mini. That car went up pretty quick.

Couldn't agree more fellas but I've applied for a lot of jobs and no-one wants me...although I do have a promising lead all be it a very poorly paid job which I would be surprised could pay more flat bills let alone anything else, don't know enough about it all yet...I'll write it up later/ tomorrow!

Sympathies to your IT support people. In about 2 weeks, their lives are going to be *hell*.Kwacky wrote:We've got a new IT system coming in. There's a teach yourself about it package online which we've got to do. 7 hours. Fantastic.
Today, I shall be wrestling manfully with Norwegian and Californian telcos. And winning.

They're rolling out the software on a gradual basis. We're the last department to get it.
