Nice.
I've changed your thread title so people can keep tabs on the thread. I'm interested in these as are a few others.

What are they like price wise against the other tyres you looked at? I presume they're a lot more than the Z8s and M5s seeing as they're the older Metzeler tyres.

Not cheap.
Pilot road 4 fitted to loose wheels was going to be around 245
These were 248 fitted but he said should be about 255+ fitted once the part is setup correctly. He did them at a deal for me.... Supposedly. Might be true but ive not checked them out elsewhere

Re: New hoops. Metzeler Roadtec 01 Review
I paid £250 ride in/ride out for the Z8 so I'm guessing you're looking at £300 for the 01s.
I'll probably stick with the Z8s for now - they're doing a good job in the cold and wet and I'm sure they'll be fine in the summer. I can get the 01s next winter when hopefully they've come down in price.
Do you know roughly what sort of mileage you get from a rear on your 1050?

No idea. Both rear angel St got nails before the end. I had some free supercross for 2000 miles in between the k3.
I'll log these

I got 3,400 from the M5 rear on my SX. That was a 55 profile.
I'm hoping to get a bit more from the Z8s but I've only used them on cold and wet roads so they're more likely to square off before I run out of rubber.

I think the k3 were about 3000. Supercorsas would have been similar.
St seemed closer to 3500 to 4000 but never took actual logs

3k out of Supercorsas?
Blimey, I used to get 2500-3000 out of Diablo Rosso Corsas, I thought Supercorsas were supposed to do about a 1/3rd less than those.

Thats approx. I got 2000 out of them. Then had to give them back to be cut up and inspected.

Was still charging my new battery over night so didn't get chance to fit it for this mornings commute. Will put it on tonight and start riding on these tyres tomorrow, then feedback initial impressions once run in.
