Health Update
Hi Guys,
First of all thanks for the messages.
Just an update on what's happening, my blood pressure is quite high which unfortunately runs in the family and I got a bit of a telling off for drinking way too much coffee which they reckon is most probably contributing to the problem.
My heart is basically missing a beat now and again which isn't a problem most of the time but on Thursday I had loads in quite short succession which made me feel quite ill, I honestly thought I was having some sort of heart attack but after about 5 mins things got back to normal.
I have to see my GP to sort out the blood pressure and hopefully get a mini ECG machine which you put on your chest for 24 hrs so it can monitor what goes on for a full day, once they have the results i'll have to see what they say .
I have had them in the past but only maybe 2-3 at a time, im basically getting them all day now but at very random quantities and intervals.
very weird TBH.

Re: Health Update
At least you know roughly what's going on and it's being tackled.
Caffeine is quite nasty. I've reduced my intake to about 20% of what it used to be. I drink a lot of oolong tea now.

God that sounds scary. Fingers crossed for a speedy diagnosis and simple treatment.

Re: Health Update
Pretty scary stuff Kingfixer.
I assume you're keeping some sort of time record of your activities whilst the ECG is monitoring ? -So that they have something to correlate the results to.

Re: Health Update
Glad your relatively OK mate and the docs know what's happening.
I've had to deal with blood pressure problems over the last couple of years. I've finally managed to get back to something normal. Main points are all the tasty things in life, alcohol, caffeine, dairy.
Watch green tea as well, in sure some have caffeine in them.
Take it easy, and use the excuse to get out of shopping trips

Hopefully the Docs will get you sorted once they know what's going on.

Hope you get on top of it mate, might need to give those 'excitable' type websites a rest for awhile too
