Re: Anyone after a track bike?
Even if I could justify the purchase it would be wasted on me bimbling around on it.
Nice to see they have a quality quickshifter on there though

That's got to be a beast to ride. I would probably shit myself on the straight and come straight back into the pits.

You would have to be absolutely on it for it to work to its best potential otherwise it would probably feel worse than a decent road bike as just not in the proper working range.

Re: Anyone after a track bike?
I disagree i think you would find it easy to ride.the only thing you would have to watch is getting enough heat into the slick's

Re: Anyone after a track bike?
No traction control combined a with a full BSB superbike spec 220 bhp engine and suspension and a chassis so stiff to cope with huge forces a professional racer delivers it would be too much for me personally speaking. I would get it no where near the operating window it was design and tuned to perform in personally. It would be well out of my range of talent and a road going softie zx10r is way beyond my ability although I do enjoy trying to show it who's boss admittedly with limited success

Nobody's saying us mortals could ride it near its limit ,I'm just saying you could ride it and have fun on it Bsb bike or not
When performance bikes tested Tom Sykes wsb they said it felt that good to ride it felt uncrashable

Re: Anyone after a track bike?
Yeah I know that Perks and and was never thinking any of us could push the limits on one. May understanding was and I'm happy to be wrong was these bikes have a very narrow operating range and if there not in that zone there not much fun or easy to ride was what I was trying to say.......badly by the sounds of itPerkles wrote:Nobody's saying us mortals could ride it near its limit ,I'm just saying you could ride it and have fun on it Bsb bike or not

Re: Anyone after a track bike?
I've ridden one of Jim moodies r6s at donnington,it felt amazing to ride tractable all through the rev range with plush suspension. Not a 200 Bhp monster I admit but it gave me a feeling of what a proper racer feels like.it didn't feel like it had a proper operating range except you had to get plenty of heat in the slicks to make them workBlade wrote:Yeah I know that Perks and and was never thinking any of us could push the limits on one.
