Pirelli Rosso Corsa
Anybody seen a pair deal for Pirelli Rosso Corsa 120/70 + 190/55 ?
Best I have seen is on ebay for £215 delivered ?
There are plenty of old stock 190/50 rears going cheap but I definitely want to stay with the 55 profile rear.

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa
I guess I'm best ordering the eBay ones for £215.
There an Italian tyre retailer / warehouse.
Anybody used them they have good feedback.

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa
I haven't but a few people on a Facebook group have. You can get them delivered to a local garage as well so you can take your wheels or bike and get them fitted there. Saved the hassle of having them delivered to home.

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa
by the time youve paid for fitting are you really saving anything by buying tyres online ?

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa
I think that depends so much on your local tyre supplier and/or if you can get them fitted cheaply. Many places don't want to fit tyres they don't supply anymore without charging a premium for it, which is fair enough.Perkles wrote:by the time youve paid for fitting are you really saving anything by buying tyres online ?
For me it isn't as i have found a place that is competitive on a fitted price.

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa
For me I can't be bothered with the hassle of having tyres posted then removing the wheels and going to find a garage that will fit them for a decent price. I like to ride in, get new boots then ride out.
Plus it's a nice ride back from Mike's which is ideal for scrubbing the tyres on the way home.

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa
Just checked online for the tyre I had fitted last night.
The cheapest I could have it delivered and then fitted to a loose is £6 less than I paid Mike for a ride in job.
I guess it depends on the deals you can get online.

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa
Most places want between £250 and £270 for Rosso Corsa fitted Perkles.
If I get those tyres online for £190 and I pay £10 per wheel for a local tyre fitter I know to fit them, who is a biker and a mate I'm £40 to £60 better off.
Its no hassle either as I always have removed my own wheels. I don't like other people working on my bike (previous bad experiences) and gives me chance to do some rear wheel / chain maintanence also. So a win win for me.

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa
I like Rosso Corsa thanks Monty. Rode on them for a few years now on the sp and Blade so a bench mark tyre for me and will be good to see how the ten performs on them. Will be my third set of tyres on the ten in 2 months so plenty of comparison to other brands also.
Thanka for the suggestion though Monty.

Exactly what Duke has said.
The thing is the Rosso Corsa is a premium tyre and expensive and therefore hard to find discounts. A lot of places on line and eBay for example want £155 just for the rear.
