So I got suited up today and went for another blast , the tyres have scrubbed in ok and actually seem ok .I dont think it helped that the front only had 20 psi in so with a bit more air it worked a lot better. Had a good run out and the bike felt good it handles well and turns in nicely and is stable mid corner I think with a few tweaks it will be awesome. The bike has so much stomp in any gear it's hard to get my head round it the moment. The brakes are not good i think the front discs are shot with heavy braking I'm getting pulses from the lever. I had a quick look when i got home but it looks like at some stage the pads have been low and put a grove or two in the disc.

Doing a bit of looking tonight and found these

That's very very cheap for a pair. If it is I would snap them up, however its most likely per disc.

I have Braking discs on the SP and there very good.

Here you go Rocket, spend 150 more and have a set of discs and wheels complete.

One set for winter / damp road conditions and another for sunny days and track days.

Ebay item number.

I m not sleeping well at the moment (5 hours interrupted is good at moment) and heading into Wales for the day.

I'll do what I did in Europe. Every full fill up. Red bull and chocolate for me ;)

cheers guys i knew it was one , i can get cheap wavy discs but that's whats on they don't seem the best quality that's the cheapest decent brand i can find.

I have thought about buying a set of wheels with discs but like second hand discs if there warped , pitted etc.. they just destroy another set of pads and I'm not sure the price reflects the risk. As people want at least 100 for a set of used discs.

EBC discs are supposed to be pretty good and they're not badly priced.

I'm very pleased with my ebc disks. Very good quality, decent price too. Not cheap but cheaper than some and most of all safe. This is braking after all....

Ebc seem expensive but I know there good. I called the place I got the bike from and he was surprised he tried a little fob off but when I stood my ground he said he would sort me out what this means I don't know but fingers crossed it will work out.
