My trusty Dainese leathers are having problems, and so is my wallet..
Much as I would love a new set of leathers I just can't afford the outlay at the moment. So does anyone know of a decent repair place that doesn't cost the earth ??
I need:
New Zips (Fly's, main jacket, and both calves) if the price is right I would consider having them all replaced
War wounds (many years old) made to look nicer
A proper deep clean (they are 12+ years old and do smell it in the hight of summer

TBH Nutz good work costs as they have to unpick everything and then refit the new items, so not as cheap and easy as people might first think.
I reckon you could end up lobbing the thick end of 200 sheets in the work you have suggested. IMO I would invest that in a new set of leathers as if you shop around (fc-moto, motocard etc....or nearly new on eBay) you will get a very good set of leathers for £300-350 new and probably £200 for nearly new on ebay.
Makes sense. Just a tip, be aware there will probably be quite a long lead time at the place I suggested especially at this time of year, their very popular.
That's a good point. Is probably going to use the place Duke recommended, I'm only going to get the zips replaced and then cleaned. I might treat myself over the winter rather than get them repaired.

You could try them and get them altered if needed Nutz. The size is only a guide at the end of the day and no two manufacturers sizes are the same in my experience anyway.
Agreed with Blade here. I tried on a few manufacturers but all apparently the same size but I chose the RST without trying...bloody things are tighter than any I had tried on luckily I'm small so I did fit into them could of easily of gone the other way! I have kept an eye on this thread because of the cleaning aspect. I'm sure my leather may be a bit smelly by end of season so nice to have some sites that I can go back to
I checked the sizes again. The two pairs of trousers are a size 36 waist and the jacket a size 40 chest. I'm looking for £100 for the lot.
There is one pair of perforated leather trousers and one pair of a textile/leather mix trousers, not waterproof as such but showerproof. The jacket is perforated but has a removable thermal gilet liner.
Let me know if you are interested Jon and we will have to try and work something out.
