Rotherham

Post by Kwacky »

I wonder how many heads will roll over this farce?

How can you accept the rape of children as being more socially acceptable than the risk of being called racist because those carrying out these sick acts weren't white? Is the fear of being branded racist really that strong that you can happily go home knowing children are being sexually, physically and mentally abused but accept it's ok not to do something just in case something might think you don't like non-whites?

With this and the Operation Yewtree it appears that many in authority are content to allow people to abuse the very children we as a society should be protecting.

It disgusts me too but it does surprise me just how widespread this kind of abuse was and how those who should be stopping it either turned a blind eye or worse became part of the abuse.

Even worse is that many of those who encouraged their staff in Rotherham not to report it, are now working at other councils in positions of trust. Beggars belief!

Tbh I think there need to be some big high profile prosecutions of people that ignored this and by silent assent encouraged it, at least that way there is precedent that can form rock hard policy to try and prevent it happening again. A whistleblower system to an independent body would be a step in the right direction as well.

Some people are already coming forward with evidence of having reported these crimes and being told to shut up.

One police officer went into a home to find a man hiding a half naked 14 yr old girl under his bed. The copper arrested the girl.

The guy responsible won't even resign, there is no honour in public office anymore.

I don't want him to resign as a PCC he has an obligation to co-operate with any current or future criminal investigation or enquiry , as a private citizen he has no such obligation and in my opinion he has many questions to answer , I dont want him to just disappear into anonimity and not have to answer for the negligent acts of himself and his staff
