ive got 6 quicktime files from mallory but cant edit and join them with windows moviemaker ,can anybody recommend some software to use please (y)

Convert the video to a format your video editor can deal with. MovieMaker likes WMV. MPEG StreamClip

is a good converter - there are many others.
