Weekend Plans

Post by Kwacky »

Anyone up to anything?

Gym tonight hopefully.

Saturday working on the bikes. The MV goes in for a service in a couple of weeks so I need to check it over to make sure it's ok. Then I'll see if I can swap the rear shock on the Versys. Not sure if I've got the tools.

Sunday family meal for my lad's birthday.

Weekend with Jess and all 4 kids.

Have convinced my young lad to come for his first ride on the Ducati. He’s got high anxiety about it but I’ve been working on him for about a year and have satisfied all his concerns enough for him to give it a try.

Jess’ daughter wants to have a crack too, but I told her she needs to have her dads ok first. I’d want to know if someone else was taking my kids out on the back of a bike.

Not a lot planned at all this weekend, looks like the weather is going to put a stop to any riding, I have received some nice Carbon air duct covers for the 999 so may fit them. I'm sure er indoors will think of something to do :D :D

Tinkering with my new toy today, plus a few other chores.

Tomorrow was going to be a family day but as the weather is good the missus is saying go for a ride and we can have family day Sunday. Seems a reasonable suggestion (giggle)

Sunday Family day and then the pub for tea and a few beers (y)

I've got the kids tomorrow, so will be entertaining them. No idea on Sunday at all.

Just had a chat with Leila’s dad and he’s happy for me to take her for a spin so guess that’s my Saturday arvo sorted!

Lit the wood burner this morning, blooming chilly on top of the hill

Tomorrow.. getting hen house ready for winter which means deep clean and de-lousing , was hoping to move the pigs as well but the weather isn't great so they won't be happy being turfed out.

Sunday may go to our local wood reclamation store to see if they have anything nice in

Putting my CRF up for sale, I'm just not strong enough anymore ;(

Sorry to hear that bb41, nice bikes imo (I used to have an XR many years ago, which was the precursor to the range)
