I was going to wash the Versys. Instead I'm watching hailstorms and snow.

Blue skies and sunny here. Good job didn't meet for breakfast then.

We're about 12 degrees and sunny here.
My mate's come round to work on his Daytona. It's taken him 2 hours to remove the tail tidy and fairings for an oil change. Not the easiest bikes to work on it seems.

Ordering some Castrol racing 10w - 40 fully synthetic oil from Halfords and also popped by The Range to pick up the bits we need to make our wedding invites. And in 2 hours it will be the end of my lovely week off from work to go to my first shift back...on nights!!

Hail and torrential rain, punctuated with blue skies/sunshine. Three seasons in an hour from my seat.Kwacky wrote:I was going to wash the Versys. Instead I'm watching hailstorms and snow.

So I was just out helping my mate on his 675R when it hammered down. It was like camping in the rain when you're inside and warm but you can hear it hammering the roof - effing loved it!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Last day at university before my dissertation hand in. I arranged a meeting with my project supervisor and he had a glance through my report to point out any fatal flaws or general no-nos - he had none! Very relieved.
Obviously it doesn't mean i'll get a good grade, but if I can avoid throwing easy points away then it gives me a better opportunity for a higher grade.
I also had a mock exam but the fire alarms went off so I went home they don't take registers so they'd have to search every classroom in the 6-story building before letting us back in and I didn't feel like standing in the cold for an hour. I've got the paper so I'll go through that soon

Re: What are you doing today ??
Trying to get the renovations of my friends house finished. it's been full on, 12hr days for about 6 weeks now, so not had time for anything else as well as getting a new puppy trained at the same time
Complete rebuild of walls and ceilings in some rooms, new bathroom, new kitchen nearly finished, redecorated in most rooms, new heating in yesterday (not had hot water or heating for 6 weeks, new gas supply from road, roof tidied, house replumbed and garden part cleared.
Going home next week so getting there. Will take some pics next week as it's a new house now.
Good physical work though, back down to my fighting weight again, no fat here!

Mate, all credit to you. It’s bad enough renovating your own house, let alone doing it for someone else

Your very kind, it's why I've not been about much on here. We do need to go home though, had enough for now.kiwikrasher wrote:Mate, all credit to you. It’s bad enough renovating your own house, let alone doing it for someone else
