Thundersport GB - Oulton Park
Right then gang, I've been VERY lax in posting this one, having been off skiving for two weeks (well, busman's holiday really at the TT)
Anyhow, this weekend see's Team Pittys' home round at Oulton Park in Cheshire.
As mentioned on another thread, this is only a 2 day event (Fri - half day testing, qualifying pm, and Saturday racing).
This round traditionally has been quite a busy one for the team, so who's coming to join the party?

Re: Thundersport GB - Oulton Park
It's a shame that Oulton is so far away. Would be good to sit around in the sun flap the gums and watch a bit of bike racing.

Re: Thundersport GB - Oulton Park
What a great day yesterday was.
Good racing and as always with slappers good company.
Met up with team Pitty and as expected the welcome and hospitality was awesome. Pitty was well on form posting pb lap times every time he went out and looked on it in the race, mightly impressive stuff.
It was my first time at club racing and it certainly won't be my last, the racing and machinery was very impressive. I genuinely don't mean this to sound negative or disrespectful in anyway but I was blown away by the talent, professionalism and level of kit at the event. It truly was stunning and not far of a big money bsb paddock just more friendly and open but no less serious or professional.
Great to put a face to a name with Stew and Daytona 675 at last and as always see that Oulton Park slag young Stuckey he's is always there every time I go I m sire he lives there, haha lol.
PS Di thanks for making my two lads so welcome and Pitty my youngest was in awe of you he now wants to be called Josh Brooke's, Marc Marquez or Nigel Pitt he can't make his made up who is his favourite so keeps changing, haha bless him

Haha thats awesome mate
Really glad you enjoyed the day, you're right about the standard of the kit in the Thundersport padfock, you'll often find BSB riders amongst our ranks too (as there were this weekend).

Re: Thundersport GB - Oulton Park
Gunna be honest I went over to watch the no limits club racing this weekend at brands, last minute thing, but the quality was not quite up to Thudersport GB standard, much much smaller paddock too, was a good day out and the racing was good but just felt a little lacking and more amateur than TGB, felt more like a track day than a race meet if that makes sense
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...
