We must be the biggest under achievers ever. We don't ever look like we believe we can win games.

It was good of Gerrard to make that timely pass to his teammate for the winner

Never quite understood the fuss about Gerrard. Very good Premier League player but never much of an international player.......like most of the rest of them really, i guess.

I doubt many of them really give a shit anyway....they certainly play like it.

Gerrards good because Liverpool are set up around him, but not so good in an international setting, it kinda had an inevitabilty about it tonight didnt it ?

I would have said Gerrard is playing the same role for England as he does for Liverpool but the extra class of the opposition at this level counts against him.

There were 5 Liverpool players playing for England last night but the best one they have ( probably soon to be had) was on the opposite side.

I don't normally watch Ross Kemp but I stumbled on one of his shows last night. He was in Marseille. I had no idea how bad parts of that city are.

There are a few large estates which are no go areas. They're all run by drug gangs. It's like something from the Judge Dredd movie. Massive tower blocks forming a fortress that's very difficult to get into and out of.

Marseille has a long history of being a place for bandits, pirates and organised crime.

He's alright to be honest. He does get stuck in and puts himself on the line. I saw some of his Afghan stuff and he was on the front line sticking his neck out.

Been watching new series of 24.

Go go Jack Bower.

I like how he knocks a beat bobby out and steals his hand gun.

Currently watched Henry Cole's "Greatest motorcycle rides" and both Mrs G and myself have independently rated him as a grade A twat/plank. Nice prog spoilt by his inane blathering.

I'm watching the 1st transformers movie as I was in the mood for proper rubbish and just noticed the rsv at the end, sounds suspiciously like an inline 4, why do all movies replace the noise with inline 4 motors, v twins normally sound better, watched kick ass 2 the other night with the panigale in it, they also sounded unlike any v I've ever heard...
