Re: The family that control the world?
Having watched some of Monty's video on the Brexit thread and doing a bit of digging, its surprising to learn how many rich Americans appear to be linked to financing the early years of Nazi Germany and at odd's with the elected US Govt of the day.
Including the Bush's father and grandfather.
I wonder why they don't teach that in school?

Well...thats b,cos they obviously control the schools and the education system too. These top rich people have muscles in everything that controls the ordinery people hence being able to do whatever they feel like.duke63 wrote:Having watched some of Monty's video on the Brexit thread and doing a bit of digging, its surprising to learn how many rich Americans appear to be linked to financing the early years of Nazi Germany and at odd's with the elected US Govt of the day.

No, wealth buys democratically elected governments.

Re: The family that control the world?
The alternative is people power. The 99% ruling and not the 1%. Alternative is governments in UK and the US that actually work for people and not for a few rich people.
That can only come if people understand whats going on to save their own skin.

Personally I want to buy a tropical Island and employ 50 naked Filipino ladies to roll joints on their thighs, but a mans got to be realistic.

Re: The family that control the world?
People in charge means people having their elected government working for them and not serving the few rich. It means real democracy in power and not the poxy bullshit system we have at the moment where people are lied to and brain washed by a few powerful individuals. I can,t explain it in any easier way.D41 wrote:So you want everyone to be in charge??

Re: The family that control the world?
You live in one of the most developed countries in the world, with one of the highest standards of living....I can explain that in any one of several ways, but the end result is the same.

Re: The family that control the world?
We may have a high standard of living now but will our children have the same in the future the way things are going? There are also loads of people who don,t have a decent standard of living and they,ll be even worse off in years to come. It doesn t have to be like that if only real democracy existed things would be much different and better for all.D41 wrote:You live in one of the most developed countries in the world, with one of the highest standards of living....I can explain that in any one of several ways, but the end result is the same.

No, they'll have a better standard of living....it will be different for certain, but all things considered it will be better than what you or I had at a similar age.
Unless you're already rich & I don't know about it??
Mate.

Re: The family that control the world?
I really hope what you,re saying would be true but the way things are going and government,s debt piling up even more I really doubt that b,cos this tory goverment is only concerned about the rich getting richer. With that attitude in the government things will just get worse than ever for the ordinery folks unless a fairer system is born soon for all concerned instead of this current system where everything revolves around the very rich.
