Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Rode to and from work today. Realised a few things
1. It seems to get a lot of attention from people - a lot of the office ladies walking to work seem to turn around and smile looking at it and I've had a few workmen in the vans nod and put their thumbs up, even had a bloke sitting at the bus stop smile and put his thumb up to me this morning after my shift
2. It vibrates through the handlebars and seat - maybe after riding the 1000 this is just a GSXR thing and to be honest it doesnt really bother me like the 1000 did - it's kinda nice on the balls too
3. I felt a 'heartbeat' today - it has a soul!!!
4. It tears your head off when you give it a bit - I've found the missing piece that I was badly looking for

No wonder their smiling at you if you're walking about with a grin from your tingly balls.

I went to the shed and cleaned and lubed the chain on mine and the wife's bikes tonight as she was watching a program about baking.
I've just opened a bottle of red back indoors.

Had an ebay offer accepted on a 690 smc rear wheel.
It comes with a rear disc , sprocket and sprocket carrier .... the sprocket carrier will come in handy if I want to use different gearing from the enduro set-up.
You have to use an 690 rear wheel as the hub is wider than the earlier Lc4 and smr/exc 'moto wheels.
I have the right size front hub and a rim , the rim is silver and I need black but some powder coat will sort that ... the only thing I need to check is the front spoke set I have are the right length.

A beautiful autumnal ride home. A stunning sunset, starting off yellow and red, turning to crimson, then purple then lilac on the way back.
Fresh, crisp air with a slight evening mist.

Didnt do anything to the bikes as such but gave a guy a deposit on a track bike ive been looking at for ages. Unfortunately its going to have to be 1 in and 1 out so the 999 may be going up for sale. I cant sell the Multi and 600rr isn't worth anything really so the 999 looks favourite.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Yeah I know but I cant justify 4 bikes and the money from the sale will ease the burden of the track bike. Apart from if er indoors looks in the garage she'll go offside
Hopefully find a buyer that will look after it.

Yes I most probably will Monty but having my favourite bike instead will lessen the pain.
