5 (and a bit) mile trail race yesterday evening. One I haven't run for a couple of years. 48 mins, it's a tough route, but did better than last time.
Even managed to have a bit of a laugh with the course photographer

New pattern then sparring. I was doing alright at the sparring until I got a back heel in the face. Oh well, live and learn.

Boxercise. I almost puked. He caught me sparring with Sam and reckoned I wasn't punching hard enough, so he took Sam's place and made my work my nuts off.

Legs and arms
I used the hack squat machine tonight. That really hit my quads.
I finished off with 3 sets of 21s.

It was all sparring tonight, right from the start. It's been a long time since I had sweat running off my brow.
And I got a deadleg for my troubles.

Shoulders today.
Tried Eddie Hall's trick of "going to a dark place" when trying to get the last few reps.
It worked to a degree, but it wasn't comfortable!

I went for a cycle.. targetting 20 miles.
I hit about 3 miles in and my knee wasn't right, after 5 I was in agony, it was 9 miles total before I got home to put the ice on it.
Even so, I managed 16.3mph avg without the ability of putting any power through my right leg

30 miles on a hilly lumpy coarse this morning, got soaked but felt good
I've booked 20 sessions in a hyperbaric chamber to try and heal my damaged nerves, tendons and muscles ,hopefully it should help
When I am feeling less pain i want to start doing some squats to build up my leg strength, then i am going to book a watt bike session to get a base to improve from

Leg day yesterday, so naturally I pressed snooze on the alarm and went back to sleep!
Shame on me.
Arms today. Still struggled to get out of bed, inn finding it hard to get motivated. Maybe I need to change the program again.

I hardly do any weight stuff now. Not that I don't want to, I don't get round to it.
The plan is taekwondo on a Monday, boxercise on a Tuesday and Taekwondo sparring on a Friday. If I get chance I'll do weights twice a week (Wednesday or Thursday and Saturday or Sunday) . My stamina isn't as good as it should be, I've got excellent recovery for my age but I seem to tire quickly.
I'm hoping to do my first TKD fight in October or November. To be honest, I'm not very keen but I need to do it at least once.

Yateley 10k the 3rd and final race of the series. Finished with a new PB of 49.15 an average pace of 7:55 min/mile..
Very very happy with that. Now to slow things down a little and get back into half marathon training

I've noticed something similar. Anywhere close to the hour mark and I start flagging. Maybe I need a pre/intra-workout.

There aren't many feelings quite like when you pull off a successful head kick mate. I'm slightly jealous!

I reckon a chamber is a bloody good idea. Nothing like saturating in oxygen to aid recovery.
