Will be embarrassing for a few wsbk regulars if he does, especially Chaz Davies on identical machinery.

He's the same age as me, I don't see him doing that well. But good luck to him, and i wish I could have ridden half as well as he probably rides now, when I was in my 20's, if that makes sense.

He is a legend in superbike so part of me wants to see him do well, and let's not forget when he last wild carded for Ducati which was Valencia motogp he won, but there is part of me which hopes he doesn't do too well if that makes sense.

Don't get me wrong I would like to see him do well and get top 10 maybe 5th or 6th but if he gets on the podium it basically means things have not moved on in wsbk and they should have IMO.

Bayliss is still capable of top 3 , he was Australian Dirt bike champion last year I read somewhere , so he still has a competitive side and the physical capability , home circuit on its 25th anniversary of hosting wsbk I wouldn't count him out by any means

Bayliss was instrumental in the design of the race Panigales so he has plenty of knowledge of how to make the bike fast. I would not be at all surprised to see him win at least one race.
