Honda are having a little party for hitting this nilestone back in September.
That's quite an achivement.

Re: 300 million motorbikes
It's a massive achievement but I have been to the Motorcycle Live Show today and they don't make one road bike that interests me.
I don't think the European market is of much importance to them now.

Re: Honda celebrates 300 millionth motorcycle
9hrs late to the party, it's old news MCN and you read it here first.
You really are absolute muppets - steal that and spread it round the net, it's on me.

Re: 300 million motorbikes
That last line saying their products are being developed in America right now, says its all in terms of why the bikes they produce now lack appeal.

Re: 300 million motorbikes
There's little interest by the japs in the sports market. Triumph and Ducati have always done naked sports bikes better than the Japs can. The European bikes have come along at an alarming rate in the last 10 years. Triumph have done really well with raising their profile among the younger riders and BMW have kicked a massive hole in the litre sports bike and naked sporfts bike range.
If Honda are happy with the market they've got then so be it. You can see why they might want to leave certain sections of the biking market alone.
