Re: Operation
I got to keep the screws. I'll post pics tomorrow. I need to find out where to put them on the bike

Re: Operation
That's a great idea. What are they 32mm you could use them on the rear axle plus if there titanium thinki of the weight saving on the unspriung mass.
All joking aside I kept the plate they removed from my collar bone and was planning to make a bracket for the brake reservoir.

Re: Operation
Yep. Don't forget they've got to pass all the way through the humerus, which is a big bone.

Re: Operation
Haven't been keeping up on here so apologies for not seeing sooner.
I'm glad all went well, and a worry now over. Having any procedure no matter how big or small it always makes you a bitty fearful.
Have a restful recuperation and none of this

Re: Operation
the holes are left for the body to repair. I need to be a bit careful as the humerus is weak where the screws have been removed, but if I get back to exercising soon enough without over doing the bone will grown back thicker.

Re: Operation
Bone regrowth needs plenty of calcium, sounds like cheese may be medically recommended.

Re: Operation
Wound seems to be healing nicely. No evidence of bleeding.
I can't believe how knackered I am. I've spent most of today sleeping. I thought I would be ok after a couple of days.

Re: Operation
Good to hear this.
Sleep is a good way for the body to repair itself in my experience mate. Trouble is that readjusting from all that rest can take some time in itself, after a long period of recuperation.Kwacky wrote:...I can't believe how knackered I am. I've spent most of today sleeping.
