Re: What are you doing today ??
I've just come off a conference call, with a very large insurance company who insure a very large media organisation. It was very interesting to watch the dynamics between the two, neither wanted to piss the other off but at the same time neither wanted to be pushed about.
Anyway, we let them both have their say then told them how it's going to go down.

We just went for another baby scan. Last time (20 weeks) they had no concerns but they couldn't see every bit of the heart that they needed to. So, 3 weeks later brings us to todays scan and another opportunity to see Baby Cav. All is well and they could see what they needed.
17 weeks to go!

Re: What are you doing today ??
The exes' parents are moving out of my investment property, the stairs are getting to much for her dad with crook knees so I put it on the market last week. Had the first open home today and got two offers only $15K short of what i was targeting. Had 10 registered buyers through the place, so agent is about to earn his comm's and see what he can rattle out of the trees. So might be off my hands by the time I get home and a good chunk of my own mortgage paid off with the profit. I've had it 15 years and its doubled in value, although I did re mortgage it during the divorce so the profit isn't as sweet as it could've been.

Thoroughly cleaning the kitchen before putting the new tumble dryer and fridge/freezer in their new home. Then I'll be carrying on in the nursery.

A couple of little diy jobs around the house then took my mum for her covid vaccination, then for the weekly shopping.
Both parents are vaccinated now so I feel a little happier about going to work with the public every day.

Agent worked his magic and got another $15K and the target I was after. Even better, it was a cash buyer investor, deposit is already down with no cooling off period. The buyer is getting back to the agent tomorrow about a early settlement (in Aussie, normally a 10 day cooling off on the offer being accepted, so buyers can secure their finance, then a 6 week settlement period) so it may work out that I won't have any period of uninhabited ownership, which is good news indeed!

Re: What are you doing today ??
trying to optimise my pc until my new one arrives ( it's been delayed 2 weeks because of a covid outbreak ) , I bought a 4TB HDD to consolidate all my photos in one place from all the various smaller drives I have acquired over time then removing the several drives to reduce power consumption through the MB , it's not big enough .

HDD's are very cheap right now , everything else in the computer market seems to be outrageously expensive and scarce .

Woke up early to put the bin out, then took mum shopping... It's been sunny but still brass monkeys out there so no bike tinkering in the un-heated garage.
