A nice drop of brandy made in Jarnac. Lovely drink and great memories of a lovely day out.

Mine wasnt my Hine. It was one I had in the cupboard called Chateaux Montifaud, it was only as I was pouring it I noticed it was made in Jarnac.

I need to order some Hine.

Kids got me a Remy 1738 for my birthday but I'm running low on my Hine and always have a bottle in circulation ;)

A glass of my birthday Remy 1738 (lol)

@Cookie and Duke. Just tried back to back with Hine Rare VSOP and would say I prefer the Remy 1738. I'm quite surprised tbh as not a fan of Remy VSOP.

Definitely recommend a try and reasonably priced in most supermarkets.

It's nice to have a selection of brandy as no two taste the same. I'm still partial to a nice calvados. I even bought one from a market stall from a couple who made their own. It was quite 'rough' but still had an appeal.

At least it's a red I suppose.

If the post system worked here i'd send you some (groupdrink). I suspect there will be surplus this year here.
