Checked the weather....it's going to be nearly 90F today, so I'm just going to stay in bed & watch movies all day long. I'd have done that anyway, but "it's too hot" seems a plausible enough excuse to do nothing, so that is what I'll do. Ha!!!!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Just got the slides, report goes straight to the neurosurgeon who I see next Wednesday, that’s when I’ll get all the educated answers.
But the slides don’t look good to me. The contrast signal change in my spinal cord that was the suspected lesion is still there and looks more defined than it did last year and there is still the same significant spinal cord swelling from that point down.
Apart from the discs that have been removed no longer pressing on the cord, nothing else seems to have changed.
I’m doing my best not to worry too much till I talk to the Neuro, but feeling a bit flat just now. I have had no improvement in the numbness since about 6 weeks post surgery. It’s about as bad as it was when I stopped going to work but better than it was immediately pre surgery.
Gin o’clock I reckon.

Sorry to hear that Kiwi. Keep busy and really hope it's not as bad as you suspect. Let us know how it goes next week

@Kiwi - I know it's hard not to worry but do try and leave the prognosis to the experts.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yep. They've improved the design recently, the catch is bigger than before and mounted slightly different. Was given the advice of only using the catch to release the visor and then moving my thumb to open the visor.Stonesie wrote:Looks great that one, just watch the visor lol i cracked one by lifting it by the latch on my Rpha70.D6Nutz wrote:.D6Nutz wrote:Picked up my new lid.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Kiwi, as Kwacky says, it's difficult but try to avoid drawing your own conclusions and wait for the professional opinion. Everything you noticed may be normal after the trauma of surgery and may not be of concern.
I've been out in the workshop today, attempting to do as much work as possible while I'm off work with my butchered knee. I'm a few hours away from finishing all the electrics (plugs and lights), I just need to select some spot lights for outside now as that wiring will be finished this afternoon if the weather stays away

Re: What are you doing today ??
Had a straightforward day at work, only mildly complicated towards the end, but have just spent an hour wrestling Mrs Gees car (hers if she breaks it), and trying to get a window more than 30% shut after a rubber seal was tangled up in the track/regulator.
Not impressed at the moment, but a temp repair has been made, I’ve sacrificed a rubber seal to prevent a waterlogged car in storm Hannah tonight/tomorrow, I dread to think how much VW want for a bit of rubber.
