Culture wars

Post by Kwacky »

It's all kicking off

The BBC want Linekar to delete his tweet and apologise. He won't

So he's been asked not to present match of the day.

Ian Wright has told the BBC he's out as well.

I'm the meantime the BBC have withdrawn an episode of David Attenborough's new show in case it upsets climate change deniers.

Every good thinking journalist is siding with Lineker and Co on Twitter.

Hopefully they have no programme tomorrow.

A spokesman for the BBC said: "Gary is not involved in any news or political output for the BBC and as such any expression of his personal political views does not affect the BBC's impartiality."

It's a thought-provoking quote to be sure, but I don't feel it's anywhere close to being accurate.
