Because men need permission with the opposite sex before they sexually assault them?
Because women are safe in every other scenario where they encounter men?
Because women are safe in bars, clubs, taxis, public transport, parks, at work, in restaurants where the sexes meet?
The problem is men. Until that issue is addressed, women aren't safe any where.

What astounds me (well, the whole subject leaves me rather confounded, actually) but what really baffles me is that those who "are genuine advocates" for
