Ten years ago Marco Simoncelli lost his life on the track. I was at Mallory Park at the time watching amateur racing in the Thundersport series. A bloke came over to me and my mate and told us the news. Watching the race back was horrible, his helmet came off

Fitting that this weeks' GP is at Misano. Rossi's mind will be all over the place.

I remember most just how disturbing it was to watch... was late at night/v. early morning here.... went to sleep thinking the worst, and woke up to see that it had come to pass. Very sad day.
