Seems like he was set up by his girlfriend. He kicked off at her for sending nudes. So she asked for him to be robbed or stabbed. It was all set up. She took him to the park where he was set on.

Wow.. so a boy dies because his girlfriend is a slag and doesn't like that he wasn't okay with that.

What a cruel, unfeeling b!tch. I hope that the rest of her life is spent In abject misery.

Imho it seems more of a sad indictment of our society, that it produces people with that sort of mindset.
Morality and selflessness seem "out of favour" with the majority of the large majority of younger generations.
Media and gaming ( the two staples of the diet of a developing mind these days) constantly promote ruthless self fulfilment almost constantly, so it seems hardly surprising does it.?

I don't think society had too much of a hand in it. The overwhelming majority of people wouldn't even entertain the thought of what this girl did, much less put that thought into action.
Nobody ever blames society for the millions upon millions of people who DON'T murder one another, only those that do...why is that??

You would hope so.
But don't you think that the way that society is progressing seems to be almost normalising that sorts of mindset, and thereby creating "her type".?

Yep. There's a lack of responsibility and that starts at home.

Teachers noticed after the last lockdown and summer holiday period kids had lost basic skills. Some were back in nappies, others could only use a spoon. They had regressed because they weren't being looked after.

His girlfriend is 13. The lads who did it are 13 and 14.

I know this sounds like grumpy old man mode but the blame lies at the doors of the parents. A 13 year old girl with no sense of worth so she's shagging and sending nudes at 13? Your young teen lad on social media brandishing a short sword and threatening to stab people at school?

To an extent, yes.... what used to stand out on a headline is now one mouse-click away from internet oblivion. Any message or meaning becomes "diluted" - for won't of a better word. And people follow suit, I suppose.
