That's probably my favorite car/bike cleaning product of all time.
Wipe on - wipe off, etc., and it'll keep your detail job in tip-top condition for frickin' ages....well, depending on the weather, garage, and so on.
And it smells good too.

Thanks for the heads up Perks, I've checked it out but there isn't a lot of information so I fired an email their way.

D41, meguiars stuff does smell nice (especially their liquid wax and tyre gel) but this detailer isn't a particularly great smell, it's just pleasant. One product of theirs which is really excellent is their wash & wax.

A good few weeks.

It has a good wet look (not over the top wet) when fresh. The bottle has lasted me a while too. No sling and it can endure a car wash.

Just so you know, Perkles.. a lorry driver who washes his cab every 2 days and details most weeks started using Megs Endurance Tyre Gel as he was blowing through his other stuff in weeks (they've got a lot of sidewall) and is happy with it so far!

In other news... I reorganised my shelving a little more :P

I'm not much of a fan of the WD40 motorbike stuff. It's not the most effective and doesn't seem to last that long.

I used the WD40 chain cleaner last weekend and it was pretty good at that.

Then i am no expert on chain cleaners. :D

Their motorcycle stuff is a mixed bag but more good than bad in my experience.

Good:
Chain Cleaner
Chain Lube
Silicone Shine
Brake Cleaner

Okay:
Wax & Polish - You'd probably be better just using the Glossworkz shampoo I have from Chemical Guys, it would be quicker too.

I finally had my eBay special foam cannon show up yesterday so I wanted to use it.

This is the result of a Pre-Wash, Contact Wash and Hydrophobic Sealant:

Brief product review:

Foam Cannon
For £6 it works adequately, no one can complain for the money and it gets significantly thicker foam than the Karcher one which came with the K2.

Chemical Guys Glossworkz
As the name suggests, it's glossy. However, it can't be left as a final product IMO as it doesn't appear to have any hydrophobic or sheeting properties. Either it needs a Quick Detailer or Sealant.

Autoglym Polar Seal
I haven't used it in a while and so I forgot why it's so good. Ease of application and hydrophobic properties. It will last less than 1 month but you can use it every other maintenance car wash (2-4 weeks). It's quicker than spray and wipe products by a considerable amount of time.

Chemical Guys Woolly Mammoth
Wow.. game changer! I'm sure it isn't only this drying towel which is outstanding, I just happened to be ordering from them anyway. Compared to a traditional chamois these are an absolute life saver! No wringing out, no folding, no pre-soaking. I did the entire car without needing to wring the towel and you can just spread it over a panel, dab it and lift it off to reveal a dry car. Thank you and take my money!

I bought it direct from Chemical Guys UK. I picked up applicator pads and their workhorse buffing towels at the same time. Good quality microfibers.

I checked last night and it isn't around anymore and I haven't seen one since with the brass adapter piece either. Sorry mate.

Best one I saw last night was about £18.

For £20 more you can buy a lance with pre wash foam, shampoo and a decent looking microfiber pad here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MLXKM3V/ ... SEbB4G1DB5

I've ordered one of their fatty super dyer towels for the bikes. The towels I've used haven't been the greatest.

I'm going to try their degreaser and there's some workhorse micro fibre towels on order.

I've been meaning to organise the cleaning stuff in the garage. I need to make sure that the products I use for the MV are separate from the rest. I want to sort out the products by use as well, so the heavy cleaning stuff is on one shelf, the maintenance stuff and cloths in their own area and the polishes etc on their own.

Mmmmm :? I can get two fattys for the same money as one mammoth.

Decisions, decisions in other scenarios I would normally always opt for the double fatty option :P
