Johnson has said there's going to be full capacity allowed at Wimbledon.

It's about 20% for football.
Looking after his lemming-esk voters, & not caring about the thinking "middle classes" ?? (happy)

He's probably got business interests, or Tory donors have, surrounding the tennis. Probably less so the football.

Wimbledon was one of the few businesses to have insurance covering a pandemic situation.

I bet they were not able to renew on the same terms this year. :D

We’ve had a cluster outbreak in eastern suburbs of Sydney. 48 cases over the last week, so we are in full restrictions and the next step is a full lockdown.
All cases are being fully contact traced and their source identified. I must say NSW Health do a great job in that regard.

Imo that ^ is the best way to react, not the laissez-faire bumbling approach we usually see.

We have a certain quoter of repatriation entries ongoing. Just have to do what i do everytime I come home from work. Test negative 72 hrs prior to entry and isolate in govt approved location for 14 days.

A contract limo driver for international airline crews was patient zero.

29 more cases today so the Greater Sydney area is in full lockdown.

I was due out on the 7 July, but I’m going to have to probably go on Monday or Tuesday now, and do Howard Springs govt. quarantine on the way to work as well as coming home (facepalm)

The Howard Springs Wiki-page doesn't hold much promise.... it just shows a photo of a muddy road & nowt else besides.

D41, it’s the same place I’ve been going to for nearly a year on my return trip.

Just if they designate me a hotspot I have to do two weeks there getting into NT as well.

Crazily, they seem to have not captured my Local Govt Area in their hotspot classification update post out lockdown. There always seems to be inconsistently on what different states class as greater Sydney and being on the fringe of that it’s a bit of a Lottery.

So as it stands I don’t have to go there atm, but high probability that may change.

Alex was tested yesterday. We got his results this morning - positive. He started showing symptoms Saturday afternoon.

Sam and Georgina are both negative. I've not been tested yet but I'll get a test sorted ASAP just to be safe.

My test is negative. I'll do two tests a day.

Alex was at boxing Friday evening and Saturday morning. I reckon he got it from there. They don't wear masks and certainly can't socially distance.

Hopefully his symptoms are light and it doesn't spread around the house.

I didn't know weather to post this here or in the joke of the day thread
