Only problem is the situation in the NT has changed since I applied and I now have an application in for exemption to the NT Health with the support of NSW Health.

So a very small chance I may get out of prison early.

I also have a direct contact at NSW health and she had said as long as the platform stays COVID free I would be issued an exemption prior to leaving the platform each trip.

Fingers crossed I can get the same sensibility from NT Health and get back to my people and continue to support my son with his therapies.
I get released from quarantine tomorrow morning and I still haven’t heard back from NT Health at all. Pack of f**king ar$ehats.

I must have missed the "accidents at home" pandemic
with the high daily death rate and long term health complications caused from some of these accidents :?

Accidents at home is always a massive issue for AnE departments.

About 6,000 people are killed each year having an accident at home.

If my maths is correct 2.3% of ICU bed capacity is now occupied by confirmed covid patients.

Have a look on twitter @UKCovidstats page.

Hospital admissions since 24th Sept have been exactly 266 a day. Every single day.

There's a lot of errors with the stats system used. If one of the home nations don't give figures then it's not updated. Most data available is 7 days out of date. The last batch of accurate numbers were published on 16th Sept. If you check the healthcare data for England it shows 1,958 patients are currently admitted to hospital for Covid-19.

When you look at the Scotland figures, cases for admission are on the decrease (based on the submitted numbers) but cases admitted to ICU are on the increase.

I like the way that the Tesco advert below that article also has a shopper without a mask .

I just though I'd lookup the exemption rules out of curiosity.

To me it would read that you can come up with your own reason for not wearing a face covering and the just print off your own exemption card?

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... e-your-own" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
where putting on, wearing or removing a face covering will cause you severe distress
How many ways could you interpret that rule?

The amount of times I have heard "I've got anxiety" (headbang)

Are you not more anxious about catching and spreading a very unpleasant, potentially deadly virus? Is a question that we are not allowed to ask.

I'm on meds for anxiety since covid started (although we all know I've had a lot going on for a long time) so I believe that a lot of people are suffering for it. The first time I wore the mask I actually really struggled, I was holding off a panic attack. Despite that I still wear one.
