It sounds like he's got a problem with his eye again. He's not going to be racing again this year. The Honda press statement says that MM has diplopia with paralysis of the fourth right nerve. That's the one he injured in 2011.

At some point he has to consider if racing is worth the risk. He is a young man with a lot of living to do.

My wife had to have scans done for a potential detached retina as per Marquez, a few years ago.

They told her it can be life changing and no guarantee of a fix. Effectively its like a curtain coming over your eye and blocking much of the vision in that eye.

.... And possibly how much more his sponsors/team will take, perhaps??
Because at some point they've got to figure that they're paying him a fortune to NOT ride. I should imagine that his contract covers that sort of thing though....?
