I saw that Bilstein post the other day, looks tasty! Only for BMWs first. A team in NLR endurance had been given a set for evaluation
That's because it has no traction control in slick mode :P
Oh... well it didn't get in my way anyway haha.

Too much torque for me to be honest. The power wasn't a problem just the torque and the strange (to me) sensational of the swing arm actually flexing and structural properties of the bike being used to generate grip. I'm really not used to that on my 600

I believe quite a few owners have had Panigale forks lose all their damping and had a hefty bill to fix it.
Possible solution which doesn't break the bank (lol)

I don't think I have ever gelled with and liked a bike as much as I like this one ,when I go out I just dont want to get off it
Yesterdays remap just made it even better the pick up in any gear at any revs is liquid butter smooth with oodles of stomp and power

Good to hear Perks (y) not owned the Sthou myself but test rode one and its a stunning bike and everyone says there easy to ride......for a 200bhp bike (lol)

You got any before and after dyno print outs?

Good place to be when you gel so well with a bike.

Felt the same about mine this morning. So easy to get it round the corners and pin it on the way out.

(nod)

Exactly where I'm at with the XR. There's no feeling that beats confidence in your machine, every ride becomes and effortless experience.

Sorry blade I haven't, I had to go twice due to childcare issues ,first time I got as far as as a base run, the graph looked smooth with a dip at 10k revs.Dave said it's where the secondary inlets activate but it made 189 stock
So I went back to get the final map and it was stupidly hot so the headline figures weren't good but it made just under 200 BHP, a h2r struggled to get 235 the week before it was over 265
I asked if I needed to come back but they told me the afrs were spot on but the air temp wouldn't give a good headline figure so nothing would change
They said go ride it if your not happy come back ,it made me grin from ear to ear and I went the very long way home
Dave was recommended and they are super friendly, knowledgeable and very open so I would recommend them
He told me Panigalis make very good power on their dyno but they sort out the rough fuelling issues with them
Best thing to do is ride down there and have a face to face chat

Yeah Pani low rpm fuelling is quite poor (big vtwin) but its OK if you pin it (happy)

I've had the Pani 3 years soon so maybe time to change (lol)

It's a great feeling when you really gel with the bike, the last bike that I had that with was the MT-10
I didn't realise it at the time but now I really miss that connection with my machine, the KTM was close and had many practical benefits, but the Kawaker is a slow grower. It's getting there but not there yet.

Wow, Perks.. sounds awesome!

I'm with you on that point Stonesie, I genuinely regretted the decision of selling my SV650 for the ZX6R.. that bike had character and I loved that V twin engine! It wasn't until I started to go beyond the ability of the SV that the ZX6R made sense and now, I couldn't sell it. I hope I never do sell it.

Divide opinion, but in 2020 if you want to be the latest and greatest you need wings.
