We need to start with a new media, and we're not going to get one until we start standing up to them like this guy. We've got to stop them controlling/setting the narrative.

Control of the media is nothing new but those who wish to do so now can do it undercover with no one knowing who says what and who controls what.

I don't think we should control the media, just make them independent, non partisan and accountable. This country has a great history of investigative journalism.

Holding them accountable would be a start. I'd be happy with that.

Didn't word my reply very well. I meant the rich and pwerful controlling the media is nothing new and we need to stop it.

My son did three years at Uni on a jounralism degree and is massively dissapoointed now that what he thought would be a career where he wrote what he wanted, is actually about writing what someone else with a different and personal agenda, wants you to say.

Agreed, did you watch the Jeffery Sachs interview, that's how you do it. She's didn't stand a chance!

I wonder how long Boris has before Cummings let's a real time bomb start ticking underneath him.

There must have been so many dubious goings on in Government within the last 18 months that he must have something that can sink the thick twat.

Convenient timing for this story to break. Very distracting.

There was an article in the guardian saying how convenient it was that some other news outlets where publishing stories showing how will British businesses where doing, how will the vaccine roll out it, and how soon normally will be resumed.

Conveniently yougov polls show the Tories are gaining points again.

Anyone would think they where controlling the media ahead of an election..

There's always someone pulling the strings.

Gove and Cummings are big mates.

I think some Tories are starting to smell blood.

Once the furlough ends and job losses increase, they can start blaming Boris for the problems.

It's the new normal. Only 4 in 10 people polled think the Tories are untrustworthy and they're still somewhere between 7 and 11 points ahead in Westminster voting intention polls.

Franky Labour are just as bad in many respects with all this flag shagger appeasement. When will they learn that you can't out Tory a Tory

I gave up months ago, **** it!

Of course he said it, just like all the other wholly inappropriate shit that comes out of his mouth and in written print. The man has got an entire documented life of it, from his mates, employers, siblings, colleagues and pretty much anyone who’s ever known him.
