SMIDSY - The reality

Hi all,

I read this (attached) really interesting article in the IAM's Advanced driving about why we as drivers, riders or pedestrians simply don't see things, bikes in particular. Useful information for you to add to your armoury next time you approach a junction.

And it's written by an RAF pilot!

good info and im going to admit I was at an island the other day and pulled out on a bike ,the A pillar in my car simply blocked my view for a split second.I didnt hit him but thats all it took and i felt very guilty afterwards,

Yeah read that a few weeks back, interesting.

Woodward employed an 'eye coach' for the England RUF team which helped them win the world cup way back when!
