Why is it worth £27k? Looks like an F3 with a special paint job.

You opted for the servo eliminator in the end then. Hope it works.

Did MV not do the mod/upgrade in the end?
I spoke to BDS racing who supply them. He said that the hit and miss problem on MV's has been resolved. Worst case is I try it, it doesn't work and I send it back. He sent me a bag of Haribo as well :D

The service work was done on the servo. I chatted to the mechanic and he did the checks and said everything was fine with the tests they had to run according to the service bulletin. He could do further checks (which he explained) but if the servo failed it would take weeks to get a replacement as Italy was just about to go on its annual 2 weeks shutdown.

Good call on the servo eliminator. Their cheap and if reliable an easy fix.

If I remove the cables as well, how do I get the valve to stay open?

Not for the stock end can, it's one unit up to the box.

I was looking last night at end cans

I saw a st3 with that can on last week and it looked very good. The chap said it was only 200 sheets as well, which I thought was a bargain.

This is what he had. Looked very trick and motogp with the stone guard in the end. Looked like a prototype works teams exhaust.

They're about £500 for the MV.

Wow he said 200. Maybe he got it secondhand, I just assumed he bought it new.

Are the 800 and 675 exhausts the same? As this is a little cheaper.

Yep. they are the same.

If I do go for an aftermarket cant there's certainly a lot of options.

Just a heads up but I've twice used that seller in the past. He's not got stuff in stock so there's always huge delays and both times he's sent me the wrong thing.

The OEM zorst is nice. Is there an option to have it modified, ie valve cut out and link pipe welded in or similar?

Someone on the MV forum reckons that the resting position of the exhaust valve is open.
