Germany the EU power house in recession, no deal Brexit and then wto tariffs for them to sell their goods here, one if not their biggest markets would kill them.

Merkel will be telling the EU dont let the UK leave with no deal.

A Turkey with a frickin' laser beam??

Well.....it's better than a sea bass, I suppose.
Was it an ill-tempered Turkey??

& whilst the rest of the world is panicking about the Covid-19 virus pandemic & closing factories, borders, ski resorts etc....

Somewhere else (where the population are perhaps more hardened to the idea of loosing Granny & Grampa to a chest infection) everyone's favourite leader of the people is planning for a stable & secure future.

Good to see Korea exchanging pleasantries over the border.

China has pretty much taken over Hong Kong now. Chinese police and soldiers are openly on the streets, arresting people and taking them away.

While the world is distracted the Chinese have also moved a lot of troops to the India border.

They're also continuing their programme of building artificial Islands for air and naval bases.

Taiwan must be bricking it.

Thing is.. they are too powerful to stop. Even for the US I suspect.

The report I heard was that 280,000 square km of Kashmir has been occupied by Chinese forces , if that is the case I expect the death toll to rise quite quickly . Indian Army officers are trained by us , they have entire divisions of Ghurkas and Sikhs at their disposal , I wouldn't like to fight against them .

Indian forces are experienced in that area so you would expect them to have the upper hand.

That's a large land grab. India won't sit back.

I’ve never been one for conspiracy theories but it does beggars belief that the virus originated in China yet they only had 80,000 cases while the rest of the world got hit hard even with a heads up.
And while everyone is busy let’s sort out Hong Kong properly and push harder on the borders.

There has been a lot of political bulliness from China toward Australia lately as well. Really does feel like they are gearing up for a fight of some sort.

China does like to own areas that are rich in natural resources, doesn't it.
Now, where is that lithium for all these batteries going to come from.?? :?

China already has the world's largest deposits of lithium within it's own borders, apparently.
Except for Chile, it seems...which is loaded with the stuff.
Well done, Chile!
