Very sad.
He manages to stay exceptionally composed, considering the emotive subject.

Without wishing to appear disrespectful however, I'm not sure if I totally agree with the message. Surely your concentration needs to be at pretty much 100% 100% of the time when riding.?

Very sad. Over done it and he under estimated just how tiring it would be due to his age (that journey would be hard enough when your young - no offence to this man)
EDIT didn't realowe the're was a video just seenough it on YouTube. You could see it took alot from his son to make that video. Everyone careful out there

Very sad indeed.

Age is a funny thing . I have to miss out on our tour of the Scottish borders and ride pillion due to the fact I know I could not do that many miles in a week without either holding people up or making careless mistakes. I have a circulatory defect as well which also hampers.

A brave son to make that video and I hope it gives him a small amount of comfort that it may make us oldies think before we contemplate certain trips
