Still floating around 1.43 for me.

Thankfully the wife has been improving her driving efficiency and we've been getting 500 miles to a tank recently which is 45mpg.. typically used to get 420 miles

How'd she manage that....is she normally red-lining the engine during the traffic light
grand prix or something??
Seriously, that's a sizable difference...20-odd % improvement.

I pad £1.439 at an independent today.

Highest I saw when I was out was £1.549 at an Esso.

My local Jet has raised the prices 10p/L since I last filled the car up... No idea why.

There's warnings about further increases as oil prices rise.

It's just a shame the feckers aren't as quick to lower prices when crude goes down.

It always amazes me how Coventry seems to be 10p a litre more than Birmingham.

There's some real piss taking going on with prices.

In the nearest small town to us there are 2 petrol stations, one BP and the other shell. They were however owned by brothers and they work together to make it look like they are in competition, but actually inflating the prices.
Within a 10 mile radius fuel at every other station is 10p cheaper.
