Trump was on TV last night with Sean Hannity, who's a leading conservative political commentator, very much in the same vein as Rush Limbaugh used to be.
God, the guy is incorrigible....he talks literally as if him being voted out of office is nothing more than a minor setback. What a total douchebag on every level.

If he gets back in the World is in deep trouble

A conviction of unlawful possession of official documents would put an end to him being able to run again.

The search warrant would have had to be approved very high up in the FBI before it went to court. Given the potential fall out of an FBI cocking things up, there needs to be some pretty solid evidence.

Then the papers are drawn up and checked by a few lawyers before it goes off to court.

Once at court an independent federal judge needs to sign off the probable cause. To do that the judge has to believe that a crime has been committed and there is more evidence at the place they intend to search. The judge will need some pretty solid evidence for that.

There were no leaks at all about this. Nothing. No one knew a thing until Trump told the world. That suggests that it's a tight, closed, dedicated team within the FBI, which further suggests that there's a dedicated team to getting Trump.

Not sure I can share your optimism Duke, ;) however I concede that if he were to regain control it would be an additional aggravating factor.

To run again, Trump would need to get the GOP nomination... and I really don't see that happening - he pi$$ed off too many people on his side of the aisle for that.
And on top of that, no-one wants even the slightest possibility of a repeat of the Capitol insurrection, so why run the risk?
Trump has been nothing short of an absolute embarrassment to this country.... the man is a disgrace to the office of the president.

It didn't take a genius to work out how much corruption was probably going on between Putin, Trump, Farage, Brexit and Johnson.

Too many people turned a blind eye to it

Republicans are asking for the warrant to be unsealed.

I'm not sure that's a smart move.

The documents were secret and related to nuclear weapons.

Trump had previously said he could take nuclear secrets home, sell them and still not lose any votes.

You couldn't make this up.

In a move that has surprised no-one but his airhead wife, comedian, part-time politician, and full-time douchebag Donald Trump has announced his intention to run again for the office of President of the United States.
If successful...and let's hope to God he's not...Trump will be 162 years old by the time he gets back into office.
