Ipswich Town losses now exceed £100 million.

Three premier League clubs from last season are overdue with filing their accounts - Fulham, Newcastle and Crystal Palace.

Absolute class signing even if only on loan.

I don't know too much about him. I've not been paying much attention to the premier league for a while now.

There's no way England can beat Italy in the final. The way they make a break will have England tripping over their ball bags and they're far too physical a side as well.

Spain were the better and cleaner side last night but No 7 (whoever he was) let down his team in the end.

We've got to get to the final first. Tonight won't be easy.

Absolutely.. I'm just meaning that if they did get through (which I'm not sure about) they won't beat Italy.

Our first game is away at Sheffield.

Sky TV have decided they want to show it live, so they've moved it to 8pm

To top it off Sheffield have decided to sell the tickets at £31 each

The only resason Blues fans are still going is because it's our first game back.

Sheffield United always strike me as thinking they are a bigger club than they really are.

Last game I went to was to see Norwich at Sheff Utd. That was the last time teams were able to play in front of a full crowd before lockdown

Sheffield as a city is good place to visit though. Easy walk to the ground from the station and city centre. You going, Kwacky?

No. There's no trains back so I would have to drive.

I do like an away day to Sheffield though. The centre is really well laid out

£100 million fee and over £300k per week for a flawed individual like Grealish?

Absolutely ridiculous.

Its a different world, being doing some work at a big Premier club, they have lots of work going on. However due to a match, and a friendly at that, all the scaffolds, and worker general stuff has to go, cannot be any sign of it. which will all have to go back again once done! Unreal!

Sadio Mane, a Senegalese Soccer Star that plays for the British team in Liverpool, earns approximately 10.2 million dollars a year and has given the world a lesson in modesty after fans spotted him carrying a cracked iPhone. His response is legendary:
"Why would I want 10 Ferraris, 20 diamond watches and two jet planes? What would that do for the world? I starved, I worked in the fields, I played barefoot, and I didn't go to school. Now I can help people. I prefer to build schools and give poor people food or clothing. I have built schools [and] a stadium; we provide clothes, shoes, and food for people in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people from a very poor Senegalese region in order to contribute to their family economy. I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips, and even planes. I prefer that my people receive a little of what life has given me," Mane said.

I see there's another discussion about banning heading in football.

I think it would take a lot away from the game

Agree... it adds an extra - and often overlooked - dynamic to the game.
It used to be one of the better aspects of the game, the whole "corner-kick-headed-into-the-net" angle. Always makes for a great goal.

I think it would too but the question should really be, "is brain damage entertainment?".. that is if they can find the medical link.

Personally, I don't think it's hard to track as they all have ID chips in their undervest and therefore you only need an accelerometer in the ball to automatically track the head trauma each player suffers. If there is a medically guided figure whereby a player should rest for X number of days then it would flag up a player and they'd have to get subbed off. This would arguably bring a new dimension to the game and it would also give more subs more opportunities to shine.

They've made the balls a lot lighter and most kids teams have banned using the head.

Not many sports survive if you start removing the risk of injury. It's about minimising it and knowing how to treat sports related injuries imo
