Sky were showing live football today, charging £15 pretty match.

On top of the usual monthly subscription.

Lots of fans refused to pay, instead giving the money to food banks. A Newcastle fans online whip round got over £5,000.

TV and covid has allowed football to sleep walk into a pay per view scam.

It’s in dire need of some legislation to protect the true football fan and the clubs outside the top of the Premier League.

The big 6 have just tried to effectively buy the lower leagues

So this supposed 'big' six teams?

Six games into the season and only one of them is in the top 8 of the preimer League and 3 of them are in the bottom half of the league.

You can see why they don't want to be playing the 'small' clubs, they keep getting beaten by them. :D

It's interesting to see how some teams are doing better without a crowd and others are struggling.

Ryan Giggs appears to have gotten himself in hot water again. There are allegations he's assaulted his other half. Wales FA have dropped him as manager for their next 3 games.

I suspect he is a nasty individual. Not the first time he has such allegations iirc. There is a reason he has not become manager at any half decent club.

The Brummie lad and former Birmingham City player Jude Bellingham has been called up to the England senior squad. He's just 17.

I hope he gets a run out so people can see what all the fuss is about. He's an amazing talent.

Maradona has died at the age of 60.

Probably the most naturally gifted footballer of a generation.

And hugely flawed.

No surprise it was a heart attack that got him.

We've scored 10 goals in 14 games.

ManCity were a lower league side for a very long time. I remember playing them a few times. The best was us scoring a winner in the 97th minute.

Some Millwall fans booed players making the Black lives matter statement before their game today.

How despicable can you get?

It's Millwall. They've done worse.
