Kawasaki ZX636 B1h 2003

I bought this bike in 2005 and it was my road bike that i converted to a track bike. It has around 9200 miles on the clock up to 6000 it was a road bike only then after that it has been used

on and off the track as i have moted it with a day light mot.

At around 7000 miles the engine was changed. I purchased an endurance tuned engine that had been completed but never used. From memory the top end has been gas flowed and its running a

zx6rr flywheel. Before installing the engine i had the shims checked and they were in tolerance for a engine in this state (my mechanic checked with his mate who was currently working for one

of the top bsb kawaski teams). The engine was installed and with a full system and power commander it made 117bhp at the back wheel(sadly i sold the full system and power commander while it was in storage). I used the bike until 2007/8 were it was then stored in my garage until 2014.

Where i got it out of storage and have used it on the road and done 2 trackdays at Mallory and a 2 day trip to Almeria.

It has been crashed once at mallory in april 2016 this was a low side on cold tyres doing roughly 30 mph the bike slid on the foot peg, crash bung, and stator casing it went on the grass and

came to a stop. I have changed the stator casing from the spare engine.

The Bike Spec.

ktech piston kit in the front forks
Wp Rac Shock
ohlins steering damper
19x20 Brembo master Cylinder
Braided hose's
Bendix Mrr sintered pads (fitted before almeria)

Euro racing quick action throttle
Vortex rear sets
Mivi Exhaust (100db with the baffle in)

Altered gearing with a 520 chain and a couple of different size rear sprockets.

the past month.

Looking good. If my compo claim was any closer to getting sorted out I'd be seriously tempted.

I take it you're looking for a relatively quick sale?

That's a well sorted bike Rocket, good luck with the sale, someone will be getting a sweet ride.

Itchy, bung it on your mortgage till your claim comes through, a couple of track days on that and you'll be riding like a demon!! Seriously, I've only done the two track days on my ZX10R and my riding after 5 yr break Was better than it ever was.

Till I crashed it of course!!

Totally agree with Kiwi. I'm not just saying this Itchy as Rocket is a mate as obviously you are too so no benefit in that, but this is a very good bike with alot of spares if your in the market for a track bike.

Oh yeah and it's quick I've seen it in action (lol)

I've just shared with a mate who did 1 trackday on his R1, sold it for a track bike then broke up with his wife so everything went on hold.

They're now back together and everything seems decent so I think he may be interested again. Looks like a serious bit of kit. I'd consider selling my road bike and getting that to be honest.

I've shared it, hence the number of views its had.

If I was after a track bike I would snap this up.

The pics have just started showing for me.. seriously nice bit of kit.

I'd probably have enough if I sold my bike and paid off the rest of the finance

Good luck with the sale mate.
Like I said, if I'd had the cash I would find it hard to say no to that. I'm sure someone will snap it up.
