I did feel a little behind with the story, I just put it down to it being in the comics.
Oh well, I might give it a whirl at some point.

I'm still not sure why the YouTube algorithm thought that I might like to see the diesel brothers get involved in restoring an old lead and silver mine but I'm enjoying it...

"The French Connection"

50 years old now & still holds up as (arguably) one of the best movies ever made.

A documentary about the Italian Campaign during WW2. It's two hours long...I think the Italians capitulated in roughly the same time-frame, IIRC.

I watched the 3rd of the three episodes of that the other night.
Overall well put together imho, probably best "made for TV mini series that I've seen for some time. Properly considered characters, who were (largely) well presented by very suitable actors.
Yes the story line was fairly predictable, without much in the way of plot twists etc,,, But this was not really about storyline, it more was about inevitable failure, endemic social circumstances and human nature.
Plenty of integrity in this presentation. (y)

Finished ‘Clarksons Farm’

While there was a Top Gear/Grand Tour type feel to it and the associated theatrics, it was a really entertaining watch. The last episode especially really highlighted the struggle UK farmers face.

It’s a worthwhile watch imo.
