I watched that when I was 8, and I still don't like opening bedroom curtains in the night!Kwacky wrote:Salems Lot

Re: What you watching?
I saw the Cincinnati game. I thought the Chiefs were going to walk it.
I've only seen highlights from the Niners game. I'm disappointed, the Rams were there for the taking and we could beat Cincinnati

Niners threw it away imo, I still can't work out how the Bengals won that game but I hope they beat the Rams in 2 weeks .

Re: What you watching?
Yep... it should have been the Niners vs Chiefs. I'll be rooting for the Bengals.
There was a guy on the news that won $60,000 on a $20 bet that the Bengals make it to the final.

The innocent.
Enjoyable limited series on Netflix, a bit on the dark side with some good plot twists.

The Responder
I noted all the hype, and the promotion of a famous hobbit in the cast, and had already dismissed it as another "same old,,," ( like that utter drivel that is Trigger Point < based on 10 minutes & I won't be wasting any more attention to affirm my condemnation)
However, and I'll probably be proved wrong before too long, so far The Responder (despite the, unless it's an ironic dig at other attempts at the same genre, stoopid series title) actually seems quite well observed.

Mysteries Of The Abandoned.
...."Prora."
I had never realized that the Nazis ever built anything on quite that scale.

Could you even tell that's the same girl from "The Darkest Hour"....??
That's an amazing transformation/make-up job they did on her. Unbelievable.

Re: What you watching?
I didn't really watch the show TBH....my roommate was watching it and I only noticed her in passing back & forth...then the camera panned down to his schlong and I bailed. I'm not a particularly big fan of Motley Crue to begin with.... they're one of those bands that are more famous for what they do off the stage than on it.
First album is really good though.
