It's difficult to understand how some peoples brains work. It wasn't so long ago we had a bunch of idiots chucking large pieces of concrete off of bridges over the A12 - that's a phenomenally busy road that runs right through the middle of the County, cars were damaged and people badly hurt. It beggars belief.

They need to catch these scumbags and give them a lengthy custodial sentence to make an example of them. Throwing concrete blocks off a bridge into heavy traffic is attempted murder in my book.

That's what the Police said, it was happening around the Brentwood/Mountnessing area, so it's fair to say it was the same perps due to the locality, but this only happened during the hours of darkness so drivers wouldn't see what was about to happen unless by chance - you tend to look only at the road at night - not also at the bridges as you would in daylight.
This latest attack is odd though, that area is rural and mostly a "dormitory" area for the larger towns nearby, it's a nice place to live and I've been there many times for work and pleasure, however the local side roads are used as "rat runs" by traffic, reportedly at some silly speeds as well, it's a possibility that a disgruntled cottage owner has taken the law into his own hands after failing to get something done about the problem by the authorities, it's not right but it's a maybe.

I can't see them finding these people. the police are terrible and need the evidence right in front of them with a few sparklers sticking out the top of it and an arrow pointing down saying this is the evidence for this crime! I have very little confidence in the old bill. These guys may of seen this as a wake up call and stop doing what their doing

Hope so too, unbelievable what some people think is a laugh, if they carry on doing it I hope they get caught in the act by some big boxer type bloke and he can show them exactly how much a laugh it is to hurt people
